Thank you for visiting our web site. We are regularly adding more information and design images plus details of the range of products on offer and the Workshop programme. The emphasis of our site is on presenting images to inspire you and encourage you to see the designs for yourself. 

Pen Coed Textiles was established in 2007 and is still changing as we go. Feltmaking is still an important element, of course, but as techniques and different materials have developed, so has the range of items made [see more information on felt making]

The most exciting development has been with peg loom weaving. We have a wider range of peg looms to choose from, depending on whether you just want to play or are a REALLY serious weaver!

If you are interested in gaining recognition for your textile skills, learning new techniques and developing your design ideas, the OCA has extended its course modules that lead to degree points and ultimately to a B.A(Hons) Creative Arts Degree. [see OCA website for more details www.oca-uk.com]

Pen Coed Textiles studio is based near Derwen Gam (Oakford), 3 miles south of Aberaeron in Cardigan Bay. Designs and peg looms are exhibited in several venues around the region, and we regularly take part in Craft Shows around the UK. Jacqueline is a member of Ceredigion Craft Makers, Batik Guild, International Feltmakers Association, and Ceredigion Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers. She has been a Tutor on history of art and textiles design courses with the Open College of Arts for many years.
