Pen Coed Textiles is a design studio run by Dr Jacqueline Jeynes.

Jacqueline has worked with textiles since she was young, building a range of skills including knitting, crochet, tapestry, dressmaking, silk-screen printing and more recently felt-making. She has been a Tutor with the Open College of the Arts for 20 years, providing support to distance learning students on Understanding Art and Textiles Design courses. As her original arts qualifications were achieved many years ago, she has been working towards a BA(Hons) in Creative Arts through OCA, enjoying "being a student again!" on Textiles I-3 ( working through the courses as a tutor rather than a student), Creative Writing, and Printmaking 1-2. This should be completed in 2010.

Jacqueline is an author of OCA courses and several Business Management books. She is also a distance learning tutor/ examiner/ marker with Durham University MBA programme; Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Risk Assessment course; Aston University student placement supervisor.
